Cayenne Software CEO Resigns

Cayenne Software (Beford, MA) president and CEO Peter Boni has resigned, according to the company. Board member John Alexander has been appointed as interim CEO, and the search is on to recruit a permanent CEO. Having overseen the company's transition over the past four years to object-oriented and client/server analysis and design tools, Boni has "accomplished my mission and I'm leaving on a high note," he said. Alexander has been with Cayenne's board of directors for over four years, and was named as CIO of the Year in 1990 by InformationWeek

. Cayenne has also announced that Q4 '97 revenue will be roughly 15% higher than Q3 '97, before charges for write-offs and expensed incurred by moving the company's headquarters from Burlington to Bedford.
