Captiva taps new enterprise markets

Captiva Software has released InputAccel and InputAccel Express Versions 5.1. The most significant enhancements to Versions 5.1 include new export modules empowering their ability to transfer electronic documents into enterprise applications provided by IBM, Microsoft, Interwoven and SAP.

Enhancements to InputAccel 5.1 include:

• Microsoft SharePoint Export--permits users to deliver captured information into Microsoft's suite of document management and collaboration products.

• IBM Content Manager CommonStore for SAP Export--allows users to deliver captured information into SAP's widely used R3 ERP system via IBM's Content Manager.

• Interwoven WorkSite Export--offers users the ability to seamlessly transfer captured documents into the Interwoven (formerly iManage) WorkSite enterprise content management system.

• Increased functionality for existing exports such as Documentum 5.2 and eiStream 6.0.

• Support for the latest scanner drivers and Windows 2003 Server

New InputAccel Express 5.1 features include:

SharePoint integration with SharePoint,
• support for exporting to FileNET and OpenText ECM systems via a wizard,

• color image processing,

• 2D barcode (PDF-417) support, and

• support for the latest scanner drivers and Windows 2003 Server.
