Canon introduces imaging strategy for the future

At its Digital Solution Forum '97 in New York City, Canon U.S.A. (Lake Success, NY) has unveiled its strategy for the future. The "ImageANYWHERE" theme promotes Canon's desire to enable "today's and tomorrow's knowledge workers to manage information regardless of form, content of location," said Canon CEO Haruo Murase. As part of its focus, Canon will concentrate on five product development areas: device management, imaging devices and software applications, core technologies, system architecture and display technologies. The Solution Forum continues through today at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.
