Brainware opens U.S. headquarters

Brainware, formerly the Brainware division of SER Solutions, is now operating as an independent software provider from its new headquarters in Dulles, Va.

In addition to its electronic document management offerings, the company provides intelligent data capture and both desktop and enterprise search and retrieval solutions. The company reports its mission is to improve workplace productivity through its suite of products, which include:

• A/P-distiller (formerly SERdistiller for Invoice Processing),

• IDC-distiller (formerly SERdistiller for Intelligent Data Capture),

• OTC-distiller (formerly SERdistiller for Order-to-Cash),

• Globalbrain personal edition (formerly SERglobalBrain Personal Edition),

• OutlookAccess (formerly SERoutlookAccess), and

• EDM (formerly SER eDM).
