Blue Prism and ABBYY Integrate Optical Character Recognition Capabilities with Enterprise-Grade Robotic Process Automation

Blue Prism a provider of robotic process automation (RPA) solutions, and ABBYY, a provider of content intelligence solutions and services, have formed a strategic partnership to integrate ABBYY’s FlexiCapture solution with Blue Prism’s Digital Workforce—automating the process of turning unstructured content into structured, actionable data for enterprise users.

According to the vendors, ABBYY FlexiCapture focuses on the document, applying such artificial intelligence (AI) technologies as optical character recognition (OCR), and machine learning technologies to identify and classify content and extract data, while continuously learning from human input. ABBYY’s data extraction process includes support for recognizing machine print, hand print, barcodes, and checkmarks.

Blue Prism complements the workplace with an elastic, multi-faceted and multi-talented digital workforce, helping organizations automate and scale business processes via AI, machine learning, intelligent automation and sentiment analysis.
