Big Data Analytics from OpenText

OpenText has launched Big Data Analytics, a complete cloud-based, advanced analytics solution. The new solution allows users to access, blend, explore and analyze their big data for a complete view of their customers or operations.

The company highlights the following key features of the new solution:

• built-in high-speed analytics columnar database—said to provide 1,000 times faster performance than traditional RDB solutions;
• built-in statistical algorithms—enable business analysts to easily profile, map, cluster, forecast, decision trees, etc., without programming; and
• cloud availability—managed cloud service deployment accelerates implementation and reduces the investment in infrastructure and operations.

Available now, pricing ranges from $18,000 per year for 50 million rows of data to $300,000 a year for up to 1 billion rows of data, as well as customer solutions for unlimited usage beyond 1 billion rows of data.
