Bell & Howell unveils two new scanners

Keeping with its strategy of providing industry-specific scanners, Bell & Howell (Arlington Heights, IL,

http://www.bellhowell.com) has introduced two new scanners to its Copiscan II product line. The Health Insurance Documents Scanner includes a pre-set ACE Plus image enhancement feature, and costs $12,995 for a simplex and $21,995 for a duplex model. The Municipal Records Scanner ($13,895 simplex and $21,895 duplex), targeted for local government and municipal offices, features a special skimmer assembly that can handle up to 130-pound card stock. Both scanners scan up to 50 ppm in automatic mode.
