BancTec signs deal with MSFDC
In keeping with its new electronic commerce initiative, BancTec has joined the systems integrator program of MSFDC, the joint venture of Microsoft and First Data Corporation. BancTec will provide systems integration and on-site solutions to help speed the arrival of E-commerce to customers of MSFDC's electronic bill presentment and payment services. "Based on the years of experience BancTec has in providing payment processing solutions, we are very pleased to have them as a valued systems integrator," said Karen Anderson, technical service manager for MSFDC. BancTec's formidable worldwide customer base makes this a key relationship, she added. "BancTec is honored to support current and future customers in their pursuit of next-generation technology solutions," commented BancTec chairman and CEO Grahame Clark. This deal "will help propel those customers, with security and confidence, into the next millennium."
