BancTec and DocTec team up for healthcare insurance solutions

(Macedon, NY) have signed an agreement to provide outsourcing services to the health insurance and managed care markets. The two companies will combine to provide forms and image processing solutions to companies with outsourcing needs. Specifically, BancTec will serve as the general contractor, and DocTec will be the subcontractor. Through this agreement, DocTec expands its distribution channels and upgrades its imaging capabilities for its claims processing services. BancTec can now offer outsourced claims processing to its existing customer base. "This is a win-win relationship for both companies," said DocTec CEO Cliff Chirls.
