Bamboo Solutions has christened Time Tracking and Management for SharePoint 2010, which is said to offer the necessary capabilities for workers to report their time, and for timesheet managers to view and/or approve/deny reports. Further, Time Tracking and Management integrates seamlessly with Bamboo’s Project Management Central if customers need to compare the difference between the estimated project effort and the actual time spent as reported in the timesheet. Bamboo highlights the following features: - alerts/reminders,
- timesheets for reporting based on periods,
- approval area for timesheet managers,
- control area for settings, and
- reports.
Bamboo offers a 30-day free trial of Time Tracking and Management (as it does with all its products) and allows potential customers to try out the project in its sandbox environment.
