Baan's (Menlo Park, CA) website will have customized information at their fingertips. Taking profile data provided by the user, BroadVision's One-To-One technology will filter information and generate a personalized home page on Baan's website, specifically tailored to that user. The system will run on Windows NT, IIS and SQLServer. The offering is part of Baan's effort "to leverage the connectivity capabilities of the Internet to better serve our customers," according to Beth Haas, Baan's Director of Internet Marketing. Added John Jendricks, VP of IT: "We chose BroadVision because it is the only solution to offer the robust and scalable architecture that meets our performance needs for a deployment of this scope and size."
