BDM Acquires ERP Integrator
Adding to its ERP capabilities, BDM (McLean, VA) has acquired Leland, an ERP integrator for Baan (Menlo Park, CA). The deal boosts BDM's presence in the supply chain sector, and tightens their relationship with Baan. The transition should be a smooth one, according to David Patterson, president of BDM's Integrated Supply Chain Solutions (ISCS) business unit, given the companies' similarities and mutual experience in implementing Baan systems. Leland will be integrated into ISCS' Enterprise Planning and Management operating unit. Leland CEO Ben Melusky will become VP of Baan Services, and Leland CFO David Leuze will be Business Operations Director.
