The expanded partnership involves the integration of Hyperion Essbase as a hosted application and will give i2 Technologies TradeMatrix users an enhanced ability to access, analyze, report and forecast their transactions with customers and suppliers, as well as analyze the behavior and preferences of Web-site visitors. The integration is planned for Q3 this year; i2 already resells Hyperion Essbase within its supply chain management suite.

The Hyperion Essbase OLAP Server is a strategic analytical platform optimized for enterprise management reporting, analysis and planning applications. It supports multi-user read/write access, large-scale data capacity, robust analytical calculations, rich attribute analyses. and sophisticated OLAP queries and delivers it all in a Web-centric architecture across multiple open hardware platforms.

Hyperion Essbase is currently available on the following platforms: HP -UX; IBM AIX, AS/400 and S/390; Sun Solaris; Compaq Alpha NT; and Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows 95/98.

TradeMatrix enables companies to deploy business-to-business and business-to-consumer portals. The software offers a variety of solutions and hosted services, including procurement, commerce, fulfillment, customer care, planning and product development.
