AvePoint Releases Collaborative Tools for SharePoint and SAP Integration

AvePoint is enhancing collaboration tools for Microsoft SharePoint and SAP Jam with the release of AvePoint Perimeter Service Pack 6.

This integration allows groups and teams to work on projects and information from a single platform.

Additionally, AvePoint has launched its storefront on the SAP HANA App Center site, where customers can view information about the product and links to the AvePoint website to purchase the product.

As a member of the SAP PartnerEdge program for Application Development, AvePoint will help organizations make the use of SharePoint for document collaboration transparent in the SAP Jam platform for enterprise social collaboration.

With the latest integration between SharePoint and SAP Jam, end users can communicate with different departments quickly, securely, and without having to jump between multiple systems, according to John Peluso, senior vice president of product strategy at AvePoint.

AvePoint Perimeter supplies end users with mobile SharePoint access and secure collaboration while providing content security.

Other new features in AvePoint Perimeter SP 6 include geo-location fencing for content access control and domain restriction.
