Aprimo, provider of a marketing operations platform, has acquired ADAM Software, a global provider of enterprise-class digital asset management (DAM) software solutions. ADAM solutions will be integrated directly into Aprimo’s platform, offering customers a marketing operations solution capable of handling both the production and publication of content.
According to Aprimo, by combining its marketing operations solution suite with ADAM’s Smart Content Hub, marketing professionals can transform raw content into smart content and automate the distribution of higher quality assets into the market, while improving time-to-market through collaborative annotations and review cycles.
The merger with ADAM further expands Aprimo’s marketing asset management solutions and enables the company to offer a complete enterprise-class content solution, said John Stammen, CEO of Aprimo. The combined platform addresses the growing content needs of marketers worldwide, with the strategic planning, intelligent workflow, and insights offered through Aprimo, he added.
Included in the acquisition is ADAM’s subsidiary company, Van Gennep, home to the PublishingNow! product. This will serve as a key creative production and fulfillment solution for the Aprimo portfolio.
Pieter Casneuf, CEO of ADAM, will assume the role as senior vice president and general manager of Aprimo Smart Content Solutions. In addition, the rest of the ADAM team will join the company.
