Altris awarded contract by The Principal Financial Group

Altris Software (San Diego, CA) has received a $1.4 million contract to install a document management system for The Principal Financial Group (Des Moines, IA). The contract calls for 800 licenses of Altris' Target document management system to be installed at the Principal's Pension Business Unit. The system will be used for the control, management and long-term storage of retirement plan documents. After "a thorough review" of other enterprise document management companies, the Principal chose Altris due to their functionality and integration experience, according to project leader Shelley Lucas.
