Adding BI punch to portals

With the plug-in integration of Business Objects’ InfoView and WebIntelligence applications, Citrix portal software users have new ways to access and analyze their data.

InfoView is Business Objects’ BI portal that collects and consolidates business intelligence information and presents it in a secure and personalized view. WebIntelligence is a query, reporting and analysis tool for Web-enabled businesses. Citrix will integrate InfoView and WebIntelligence through a suite of Citrix Content Delivery Agents--Web applications that plug into the Citrix portal.

The companies claims that by making Business Objects functionality available through the Citrix portal, mutual customers have an opportunity to increase revenues, strengthen collaboration within the enterprise or across its value chain and accelerate return on investment for both Citrix and Business Objects products.
