AccessData serves up hosted KM system

With its eyes on the professional and financial services markets, AccessData has developed a new hosted knowledge management system using Open Text’s Livelink collaborative environment as a central component of the architecture for its new hosted knowledge management system.

The ASP system targets the core business functions of the financial services marketplace, including research, portfolio management, trading, clearing and settlement, administration, risk management, compliance and client reporting.

AccessData’s proprietary Cognition methodology is said to shorten time to market and minimize risks for clients by providing Web-based solutions in the areas of investment management, shareholder services, sales force automation and branding. Livelink’s enterprise services include virtual team collaboration, business process automation, enterprise group scheduling and information retrieval services. Livelink servers are Web-based and open-architected for quick deployment through a standard Web browser.
