ASG Technologies has announced an updated version of its content solution. According to the vendor, Mobius 7.0 provides access to any type of content, at any time and is deployable on-premise, in the cloud, or in a hybrid model, with advanced redaction and storage rules.
The new Mobius content services architecture allows businesses to customize and embed access to content within and across disparate applications, providing delivery of the information that users require. And, to ensure control and compliance, the solution maintains each asset's native form, keeping policies and rules attached throughout the content lifecycle.
There is a growing need for end-to-end solutions that bring together content across the organization while also managing access and security, said Swamy Viswanathan, executive vice president and chief product officer, ASG Technologies. With the ability to integrate with existing systems and work across disparate applications, Viswanathan noted, the Mobius content services architecture addresses modern enterprise needs by controlling content and breaking down barriers to access.
Mobius 7.0 offers a new content services architecture. Key features include a REST API, allowing organizations to provide content as a service from anywhere, including custom applications and end user applications, from a single sign-on screen, and enabling storage and retrieval of content from applications inside and outside the firewall. Mobius 7.0 is deployable on-premise, in the cloud, and in hybrid environments, allowing businesses to cost-effectively keep decades of infrastructure investment while leveraging the benefits of cloud-based computing to deliver responsive content access, distribution, and retention. The release also offers hybrid storage options to enable enterprises to store information in a variety of ways, and provides granular policy management and control as well as an embedded redaction capability.
