A gift for the enterprise

Targeting the Global 2000, Endeavors Technology has announced Magi Enterprise 3.0, a new version of the company's flagship P2P collaboration system.

The new produc1 allows enterprises to establish ad hoc virtual private Networks for collaboration very rapidly and affordably without disrupting existing applications, networks or work practices, the company claims. Endeavors further says that through the use of such features as cross-firewall connections, advanced data extraction, an intuitive graphical interface and universal name spaces, Magi transforms unsecured, read-only Web networks into two-way, transparent collaboration environments.

Endeavors says Magi Enterprise 3.0 bridges the gap between unsecured e-mail, which it says is routinely used to share proprietary documents, and secure portals, which it believes requires high overhead and time associated with designing, managing and using secure portals.

Magi Enterprise 3.0 is priced at $200 to $300 per user for large enterprise implementations.
