A decided advantage

Advantage 4.0, the newest version of Datasweep’s supply chain solution, showcases a portal that gives manufacturers what is claimed to be the first global, personalized real-time view of manufacturing operations across plants, divisions and throughout their private supply chain. The portal enables complex analysis of data from manufacturing and repair operations, Datasweep says, and also extends this capability to correlate data between Datasweep and other enterprise applications.

Datasweep explains that its Supply Chain Collaboration Portal also triggers notifications if critical performance indicators deviate from user-defined thresholds. Personalized views deliver production metrics tailored to the user's specific role within the company, allowing him or her to see relevant information by customers, product lines and location. The company adds that users can drill down on report parameters to isolate the root cause of deteriorating trends in real time.

Advantage 4.0 also includes two new applications: Return Material Authorization (RMA) Management and Repair Operations. The software allows customers and their outsourcing partners to manage the customer return and repair process more effectively and capture all the detailed field defect, repair and upgrade information that now occurs on separate, often paper-based, service systems.

Pricing for the portal starts at $250,000, and the return and repair applications are $20,000 per application and $4,500 per concurrent user.
