Proforma Global, a print management and workflow solution provider with offices worldwide, has selected an open source enterprise content management solution to serve and collaborate with its customers.

Proforma Global began using the open source solution from Alfresco to help one of its customers collaborate on and update the look of product data sheets for its scientists, project and graphic managers, and marketing personnel throughout the world. Proforma Global is also using the open source solution for four other asset management marketing projects within the same company.

Paul Knipe, VP of operations at Proforma Global, says, "We knew from the get-go that Alfresco is more robust and less costly than any of the content management alternatives we considered ... We plan to pitch Alfresco's content management and collaboration capabilities as a major part of our value-add to every one of our clients going forward."
