Credit union improves member services

Boeing Employees Credit Union (BCEU) has implemented a knowledgebase solution from Talisma to enhance services to more than 445,000 members.

Talisma Knowledgebase is expected to provide employees with better access to internal product and process information through a Web self-service solution for more than 400 member consultants. Prior to the implementation, BECU used an in-house system to manage its data.

Says Marc Healy, director of member solutions for BECU, "Our stagnant data was limiting our consultants' ability to effectively serve our members. For years we've worked hard to manage our information effectively, and after seeing Talisma's solution and expertise, we knew that we had the opportunity to take a big step forward."

Talisma says its offering streamlines the documentation process for an organization to share information with employees, customers and partners. The self-learning knowledgebase captures and presents relevant information to customers in a Web self-service mode, and to agents through a portal within a single screen agent interface.
