CRM simplified

After finding the CRM system it was using cumbersome and costly, software developer iManage searched for new software, eventually choosing an online solution from Salesforce.com.

iManage decided to standardize on Salesforce.com's Professional Edition because it found it to be easy to implement, intuitive and powerful, according to a recent press release. Within days of selecting Salesforce.com, iManage's geographically dispersed sales representatives were said to be up and running on the system, and able to access an integrated view of customers. Also, iManage's international partner network gained access to Salesforce.com, which enabled partners to follow up directly on sales opportunities and provided iManage with real-time updates on partner-driven sales.

"Now, we have all the functionality we need for a productive sales process," says Eugene Alfaro, director of IT for iManage. "Our implementation was quickly completed with no surprises and no cost overruns. Now all of our sales representatives, including our remote team members, use the system fully, and we have vital customer information at our fingertips."

Salesforce.com CEO Marc Benioff maintains, "We understand the challenges that companies face when client-server CRM systems don't perform as promised, and are pleased to provide an alternative that meets critical business needs without hassles and headaches."

Salesforce.com delivers its CRM solution as an online information utility via a Web services infrastructure.

iManage is a collaborative content management software developer.
