BPM supports sales for Finnish department


Business process management (BPM) software is helping telecommunications service provider TeliaSonera support its sales of business services in Finland. Lombardi's Teamworks BPM suite will help the Business Services Finland division with sales volume, activation efforts, provisioning backlog and other core business processes.

"Business Services Finland sees this as an opportunity to increase significantly the quality of service and valuable time spent with customers," says Batu Karasar, senior VP of the division. "Therefore, BPM is a critical initiative, and we needed to find a partner we could trust throughout our BPM journey."

Karasar adds that after reviewing several BPM products, Business Services Finland chose Lombardi because of its functionality, implementation methodology and team expertise.

With the software suite, Business Services Finland is designing and automating its business processes to control and manage them more easily. The division expects to improve its operational efficiency by eliminating rework, reducing handoffs and shortening delays, Lombardi reported recently.

Process scoreboards and performance metrics are delivering visibility across operations. As a result, the management team can easily identify when and where delays are occurring, as well as refine the processes as needed, according to Lombardi.
