Captaris has formed a marketing alliance with Canon U.S.A. and eCopy designed to improve organizational efficiency by helping customers deliver the right documents to the right people quickly, productively and cost-effectively, the companies say.

They add that eCopy integrates Captaris RightFax with Canon imageRUNNER multifunction devices to consolidate all faxing services on the network, giving users access to faxing capabilities on the same devices used daily for printing, scanning and copying.

RightFax and eCopy products provide a solution for organizations that want to further leverage their Canon imageRUNNER multifunction devices for all document development, duplication and distribution needs. Users gain both easy walk-up access and a central point of control for both electronic and hard-copy faxing, enabling companies to streamline workflow processes while saving time and money on administrative tasks
