KANA to acquire eVergance

KANA has signed a definitive agreement to purchase eVergance, a management consulting and systems integration firm offering complete consulting services for CRM optimization, knowledge management and Web self-service deployments.

KANA reports the acquisition will essentially double the size of its professional services team. Further, it continues, eVergance will provide a new set of offerings to its customers that complement and extend the services currently provided by KANA. Customers will also be able to take advantage of eVergance’s domain expertise in customer service technology and best practices.
