Hyland Software  has developed the OnBase for Meditech solution, a specific product based on Hyland’s well-respected enerprise content management (ECM) software suites for the healthcare market.

The company says that by incorporating OnBase document management, healthcare organizations capture patient information often left out of the EMR. Complete patient information is available when and where physicians, nurses and staff need it. Hyland claims Meditech allows providers to keep all their processes and content—from Meditech and elsewhere—in one place, resulting in:

• a more complete, accurate and accessible patient record;
• automated processes across the organization, such as in accounts payable, for maximum staff productivity; and
• an integrated technology environment, making it easier for users to navigate and get the most “meaningful use” out of their systems.
