Intranet Dashboard has released Version 2.1 of it namesake suite of more than 40 built-in tools and applications.

The company reports it has an enhanced navigation interface, which now includes horizontal navigation for improved usability, allowing organizations to further customize their installation and provide additional formatting and style options. External single sign-on is also now offered, further facilitating the integration between the intranet and other external applications.

Other highlighted upgrades include:

• MS Outlook Web access through iFrame integration enabling users to view their calendars and inbox for better diary management within the intranet user interface; and
• external applications, such as YouTube videos, can now be imported to the content publisher, further enhancing content options.
