Ultimus has launched Version 8 of its Adaptive BPM Suite, which, the company says, offers a "new level of agility by supporting people, the ecosystems they work in and the change that is common to both." Ultimus reports that key adaptive capabilities include:

• the Ultimus Human Services Bus for faster process design (based on the distributed XML model for supporting human-centric processes),

• a service-oriented architecture designed to expose core process information as reusable services,
• comprehensive reporting and business intelligence (BI) services,
• Community Clients that enable mass participation in business processes,
• adaptive organization charts to handle role changes and routing,
• an intuitive human-centric user interface, and
• comprehensive round-trip optimization and modeling.
